Tours & Move-In Support

Amy personally accompanies families on home tours and stays involved through move-in and beyond.

The Process

Calm, clear, and personal — from the first call to move-in day.

01

Listen

A relaxed conversation about your loved one — their personality, care needs, location, and budget.

02

Match

Amy hand-selects a short list of homes she trusts personally, based on what your family actually needs.

03

Tour

We visit the homes together. You see the difference experience makes when someone knowledgeable is by your side.

04

Transition

From paperwork to move-in day, Amy stays involved — and remains a resource long after.

Our service is provided at no cost to families — Amy is compensated by the care communities, never by you.

When to Call

Signs it may be time to consider placement.

If any of these feel familiar, a no-pressure conversation with Amy can bring clarity. You don't have to have it all figured out before you call.

Frequent falls or near-falls

Mobility changes that make daily living unsafe at home.

Memory loss affecting safety

Forgotten medications, stoves left on, getting lost in familiar places.

Caregiver burnout

Family caregivers stretched thin, exhausted, or geographically distant.

Hospital or rehab discharge

A loved one cannot safely return home and a placement is needed quickly.

Declining hygiene or weight loss

Signs that daily care needs have outpaced what family can provide.

Increasing isolation

Withdrawal, depression, or loss of social connection at home.

FAQ

Common questions from families.

Don't see your question? Call Amy directly at (949) 683-8736.

How much does your service cost?

+

Nothing. Our placement services are completely free to families. Amy is compensated by the care community only after a successful placement — never by you.

How quickly can a placement happen?

+

When the need is urgent — like a hospital discharge — Amy can often arrange same-day or next-day tours and place a loved one within days. For non-urgent planning, we move at a pace that's right for your family.

What's the difference between a residential care home (RCFE) and assisted living?

+

An RCFE is a small, licensed home (usually 6 residents) offering personalized, family-style care. Assisted living communities are larger and offer more amenities. Amy has owned RCFEs for 20+ years and helps families understand which setting truly fits.

Do you help with memory care and dementia placement?

+

Yes. Amy specializes in matching residents with memory care environments — both in dedicated communities and in small homes with experienced dementia caregivers.

What areas of Orange County do you serve?

+

All of Orange County — from Seal Beach to San Clemente, and inland through Anaheim Hills, Yorba Linda, and the Saddleback Valley.

What should I have ready for our first conversation?

+

Nothing formal. Just be ready to talk about your loved one — their personality, current care needs, budget range, and where they'd like to be located. Amy takes it from there.
